Groveton Awana Clubs
Unfortunately, GBC will not be able to host an AWANA club for the 2020-2021 academic year. We hope to be back and see you after that!!
Awana Clubs at Groveton Baptist Church are a fun place where kids age 2 through high school learn about the world's Savior, Jesus.
We play games, have fun, make friends, learn Bible verses, earn rewards, and listen to engaging Bible stories and messages that help us get to know God and build our lives on His Word.
Awana Clubs meet Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:35 PM. Come to Door 5 around back.

- Journey — High School, Grades 9-12
- Trek — Middle School, Grades 6-8
- T&T — Upper Elementary School, Grades 3-5
- Sparks — Lower Elementary School, Grades K-2
- Cubbies — Pre-School, 2 years before K
- Puggles — Pre-School, 1 year before Cubbies

Awana Club Evening Segments
- Game Time — This is the time of the evening that draws the kids to come have fun with one another.
- Large Group Time (also known as Counsel Time) — This is when kids hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and—if they are believers—learn to grow in their faith.
- Small Group Time (also known as Handbook Time) — This is when kids recite their verses, and listeners/leaders sign off on them having completed their handbook work.
Awana Clubs are only able to happen each week because many people dedicate themselves and volunteer their time to serve in important roles, some each week, others less frequently, all for the glory of God.
